What it is, and why it gets chosen.

Microcement is a thin, cement based coating applied by hand in fine layers. It bonds to almost any substrate, so it can wrap a floor, climb a wall and continue across a benchtop as a single unbroken surface.

The appeal is that seamlessness. Designers reach for it when they want a quiet, architectural finish with no visual breaks. Builders choose it because it is hard wearing and holds up in wet areas and high traffic. And because the colour is mixed for the project, no two surfaces are quite the same.
